Issuers

Success with Structured Products

PrimePortal allows issuers to market to specific groups of investors. Using value-added features such as market analysis and comparisons of derivatives issuers can attract and retain customers. Using sell-side statistics, investment banks can react quickly to markets when designing their own instruments. In addition, issuers are able to distribute prices for their derivatives in an aggregated feed to other market members.

Managed Solutions for Issuers of Retail Derivatives

Interactive Data Managed Solutions provides products that help customers to:

  • Calculate, simulate and chart warrant prices and Greeks behavior under current or hypothetical scenarios with the product module Warrant Analyzer. The option-pricing tool is designed to allow users to simulate and display risk characteristics of a selected investment product. Advisors can use it to explain and illustrate changes in the price of a product, especially for plain vanilla warrants. Implied volatility based on the associated underlying price is calculated as well as the standard Greeks. Charts in 2D and 3D illustrate the option price and the Greeks.

  • Visualize payoffs and simulations and compare different certificates with the Certificate Simulator. It helps to select and analyze certificates and simulate their behavior in certain market conditions. Investors can experiment with available instruments to choose the one that is best suited to their expectations of the underlying instrument's behavior. Apart from the simulation of the derivative at a user-defined date, underlying value and implied volatility, the product also charts simulations of the derivative's development towards the instrument's maturity.

  • Monitor market share by keeping a close watch on sales with Derivatives Statistics. The product module delivers current sales figures for retail derivatives. Issuers of certificates and warrants can monitor sales of their own instruments and those of competitors. More than 100,000 derivatives for more than 1,300 underlying instruments are covered. Statistics can be sorted and ranked by markets, issuers, underlying instruments and more.
